Bespoke Commissions – FAQ
How do bespoke commissions work?
Each McAuley London piece is made to order by hand. To start a commission, please use our Contact page to send us your requirements — including the piece you're interested in, your preferred dimensions, and any finish questions. We'll come back to you to confirm the details and next steps before any order is placed.
Which pieces are available as bespoke commissions?
Our core table collection — including the Brunswick, Hayward, and Barbican — are all available to commission in custom dimensions and finishes. Please get in touch if you have a specific piece in mind.
Can I request custom dimensions?
Yes. Because every piece is hand-finished and made to order, we can accommodate bespoke sizing. Share your required dimensions when you make an enquiry and we'll advise on what's possible.
What finishes are available?
Our tables are hand-finished, and a range of finishes is available. We recommend requesting a sample before committing to a finish — see below for details.
Can I see a finish sample before ordering?
Yes — samples are available. Please mention this when you get in touch via the Contact page and we'll arrange one for you.
How long does production take?
- Brunswick – approximately 3 weeks
- Hayward – approximately 3 weeks
- Barbican – approximately 4 weeks
Lead times run from order confirmation and are subject to current workshop capacity. We'll confirm the expected completion date with you at the time of ordering.
How is delivery handled?
Delivery details — including cost, method, and geographical coverage — will be confirmed with you directly as part of the commission process. Please ask about delivery when you make your enquiry. [Delivery terms to be confirmed by McAuley London.]
How do I get started?
The best way to begin is to contact us with a brief outline of what you're looking for. We're happy to answer questions, discuss options, and guide you through the process from first enquiry to finished piece.
